Selous Game Reserve:

Selous is perhaps the most wilderness still remaining in Africa. The environment is both striking and diverse, here is where there is the mightiest population of elephants in East Africa and the biggest population of buffalos to be seen anywhere on African continent, Selous is also the world’s most significant stronghold for the highly endangered wild dog. Also Selous is among of the few refuges for the rare black rhinos.

In Selous is where many tourists activities can be done from the photographic to hunting safari. The Rufiji river is among of the major source of the park covered with more than 55’000 km2. Like all other parks in Tanzania’s southern circuit Selous is a strictly seasonal visited wildlife area un like the parks in the northern circuit which are accessible throughout the year..
