South Tanzania Expedition in 11 days

Day 1: Dar es Salaam

Jambo and welcome to East Africa!
We will welcome you and transfer to your hotel for diner and overnight.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam - Mikumi

After breakfast at the Camp / Lodge,
Then you will take the direction of Mlandizi on your way to Mikumi for lunch.
Afternoon game drive will be performed in the Mikumi National Park.
Diner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 3: Mikumi - Ruaha

Early morning game drive in the Mikumi National Park
Then go back to your Camp / Lodge for breakfast.
Then proceed to the Ruaha National Park.
The lunch will be a picnic box on the way.
Afternoon game drive in the Ruaha National Park
Diner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 4: Ruaha National Park

Full day game drive in the Ruaha National Park.
The home of Greater Kudu, Ruaha was the first largest National park
but not very famous like the Serengeti National Park
consider like the Treasure of Tanzania and Africa.
All meals and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 5: Ruaha - Mbeya

Breakfast at the Camp / Lodge.
8 hours of drive will take you to Mbeya town, where you will be spending your dinner and overnight.
The lunch will be a picnic box on the way to Mbeya.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 6: Mbeya - Sumbawnga

After the breakfast at the Camp / Lodge.
Another 8 hoursof driving awaits you, to reach Sumbawnga for dinner and overnight.
The lunch will be a picnic box on the way to Sumbawnga.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 7: Sumbawnga - Katavi

After the breakfast at the Camp / Lodge.
Drive to the land of hippopotamus, where we will take the lunch.
Then proceed to an afternoon game drive in the Katavi National Park.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 8: Katavi National Park

Full day game drive in the Katavi National Park where by the large herds of hippopotamus can be seen,
especially during the dry season.
All meals and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 9: Katavi - Mahale

Early morning game drive in the Katavi National Park.
After lunch you will catch your flight to Mahale.
We will welcome you and transfer to your hotel for diner and overnight.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 10: Mahale National Park

After the breakfast at the Camp / Lodge.
Full day of chimpanzee tracking in the Mahale’s forest.
The scenery in Mahale is amazing!
All meals and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.

Day 11: Mahale – Dar es Salaam

After the breakfast at the Camp / Lodge.
Proceed to the Mahale Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam.
All meals and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.
